Islamic Outreach Abim Bangi was formally established in July 2006. It is a branch of IOA which has been long involved in its continuous efforts in missionary works. The aim at establishing IOA Bangi is to continue is endeavour to reach out and spread the teachings of Islam to non Muslim society especially focused in the area surrounding Bangi.
The concept or method used by IOA lies on the verses of the Holy Quran which means “ Invite All to the way of thy lord with wisdom and beautiful preachin” (16:125) Aside from this, IOA Bangi also acts as a new centre to the Muslim society in Bangi to open up their minds and heart towards realization that da’wah is an important part in the lives of the Muslims hence every Muslims should be involved in it. IOA Bangi is also organizing welfare activities, Islamicare, Hospital Visit and the like which are also related to Islamic missionary works. At the same time, IOA will also be able to increase the number of volunteers involved in this mission. |
