Islamic Outreach

Islamic Outreach-ABIM was established in 1987 with a mission to spread the Rahmah (blessing) of Allah SWT to all mankind. IOA’s approach to da’wah ( spreading of the message) is by propagating islam as a complete way of life based on the verses of the Quran and the teachings if the prophet Muhammad S.A.W.

“ Invite all the way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching..” (16:125)

“ Let there be no compulsion in religion..” (2:256)

Throughout its seventeen (17) years of existence, IOA has helped more than 5000 new converts of various races and nationalities by providing Islamic Classes, counseling, material and financial assistance. IOA has also established branches throughout the country and has expanded its activities to other group such as orphans, handicaps, Orang Asli ( indigenous people ) and terminally-ill patients ( including HIVs ). All these are made possible through the generous donations from the public and the dedicated service of volunteer.

Its has been IOA’s pledge to persistently strive and endeavor in contributing and providing the best services possible to each new convert and enlightening those interested in getting to know and further understand Islam. It has been our practice to preserve the ‘open and philanthropic’ culture and tradition, sensibly tactful and prudence with wise approach in every activity and program conducted. IOA aims to be committed in offering voluntary services to target groups in need of assistance. IOA will also ensure that its workforce and volunteers are well equipped with sufficient training and exposure in order to enable them to carry out the task entrusted to them with full commitment and dedication.
